Dark Mode for Google Sheets Video Tutorial

This video tutorial is the most popular for the INDEX() formula, which is responsible for returning a cell’s content or specific value, which is specified by row or column offset.

If you’re looking for a more advanced and dynamic search, INDEX and MATCH can be used for that purpose. Here’s a nice tip from Google:

VLOOKUP can be used when the lookup value is to the left of the desired attribute to return. INDEX and MATCH can be used regardless of where the lookup value is located in the dataset.

Syntax of INDEX():

INDEX(range, row_num, column_num)
